Ingredients
- 400 gr rigatoni
- 200 gr Masserie di Sant’Eramo “La Dolce” cherry tomato puree
- 200 gr sausages
- 70 gr onion
- 4-5 basil leaves
- grated cheese q.s.
- Masserie di Sant’Eramo extra virgin olive oil q.s.
- salt q.s.
- pepper q.s.
Preparation
Sausage sauce is a very tasty preparation. Peel the sausages and chop them roughly. Chop the onion and brown it in a large pan with extra virgin olive oil. Add the sausages and brown them very well, then add salt and pepper. Add the tomato puree, a couple of ladlefuls of hot water and a few basil leaves. Lower the heat, cover with a lid and cook for 25-30 minutes. Cook the pasta al dente, drain it and immediately season with the hot sauce. Complete by generously sprinkling with grated cheese and serve.
