- 400 gr fresh cavatelli
- 1 garlic clove
- 500 gr mussels
- 50 gr rocket
- 100 gr cherry tomatoes
- salt q.s.
- Masserie di Sant’Eramo extra virgin olive oil q.s.
Preparation
Cavatelli with mussels and rocket is a typical first course from Bari. First, wash and perfectly clean the mussels. In a pan, brown the garlic with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. When it browns, add the mussels and the cherry tomatoes cut in half. Cover with a lid and cook for a few minutes until the valves open and a sauce forms. Cook the cavatelli in abundant salted water and then add it to the pan with the mussel sauce. Add the rocket and stir. A final touch with a spoon of raw extra virgin olive oil and your dish is ready.
