Ingredients
- 200 gr wholemeal flour
- 100 gr type
- 1 flour
- 1 egg
- 60 gr honey,
- 50 gr white sugar
- 85 ml Masserie di Sant’Eramo extra virgin olive oil
- 10 gr of baking powder
- a pinch of salt,
- half berry seeds of vanilla
Preparation
Wholemeal honey biscuits are perfect for breakfast, dipped into hot milk or to go with a cup of tea. In a bowl, beat the egg with the sugar, the vanilla seeds, the oil and the honey. Add the two flours, the yeast and a pinch of salt. Knead everything until you get a mixture similar to pastry.
Prepare a lightly floured work surface, roll out the dough with a rolling pin and make the biscuits with the help of a round mold or a glass.
Arrange them on a baking tray covered with parchment paper and bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes. Once brown, take them out of the oven and let them cool before serving.
