- 1 and a half teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 175 gr flour
- 6 gr vanilla-flavoured baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 60 gr walnuts
- sliced almonds and hazelnuts to decorate
Preparation
Banana bread is a banana plum cake typical of Anglo-Saxon countries. It is a very fragrant, healthy and light dessert, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.
To make banana bread, take 3 of the 4 bananas and purée them with a blender or by hand with a fork.
In another bowl, put the flour, baking powder and salt; mix the wet ingredients with the dry ones with a whisk. Cut the walnuts into large pieces and pour them into the dough. Preheat the oven to 175°C and prepare a well oiled and floured mold in which to pour the dough. Finally, cut the fourth banana in half and place it on top of the banana bread; garnished with slices of almonds and hazelnuts.
The cooking time is about 35-40 minutes. Do the toothpick test to check if it is cooked. Remove your banana bread from the oven and let it cool before serving.
