Light chocolate cake

Ingredients

  • 300 gr flour
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 gr Masserie di Sant’Eramo extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 150 gr brown sugar
  • 1 sachet of instant yeast
  • 120 gr dark chocolate

Preparation

This soft dessert is perfect to eat for breakfast or for a break.
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and set it aside to cool it down. In a large bowl, add the sifted flour, sugar, yeast, oil and milk and blend well.
Add the egg to the melted chocolate and mix with a spatula. Add the chocolate mixture to the previously obtained mass and mix everything together. Pour into a well oiled cake pan and bake at 180°C for half an hour. Let it cool and decorate with icing sugar before serving.
